Theater to Perform “Snow White” Mar. 31st & Apr. 1st
The Warren Tech Performing Arts shop will be performing “Snow White” in the John B. LaPorta Performing Arts Center on Friday, March 31st at 7pm and Saturday, April 1st at 7pm. Tickets are available here. Fresh off their ringing performance of “Wonderful Life”, the Performing Arts shop is already gearing up for the Spring show.
Tech Art Students, Teacher Earn Awards
Warren Tech art students and their teacher recently won awards for their work as part of the Warren County Art Educators Show. The work is on display at the Wayne Dumont Building, which is the Warren County Administration Building in Belvidere. Six Warren Tech students participated and two earned honorable mention honors. Art Instructor Mrs. Noll earned third prize for her work.
Cosmo Students Explore Futuristic Styles
Warren Tech Cosmetology students recently had the opportunity to practice their skills and display their creative side with fun competition called “Futuristic Styles.” The competition required that students explore unique styles and makeup to represent their ideas for the future of the industry. Junior and senior students work together in groups to design hair and makeup.
Congratulations to the February Athletes of the Month
Senior Boys Basketball player Travis Nunnally and freshman Girls Basketball Player Lia Sabatino were recently named February Athletes of the Month. Nunnally finished his senior season with the Knights as a vocal leader who motivated his teammates. Sabatino earned the honors as a freshman athlete whose effort and toughness on defense was an integral piece to the Lady Knights success this season.

SkillsUSA contests are underway. Warren Tech students will be competing in various competitions throughout March and April. The SkillsUSA Championships are competitive events showcasing the best career and technical education students in the nation. Contests begin locally and continue through the state and national levels.
