L2-students reviewed ser/estar rules and conjugations to take the chapter 14 grammar packet mastery exercises take-home test due tomorrow-25 problems; sentences for the first set of preterite tense verbs was collected today, originally due on friday, but moved as a courteous gesture; new sentences with this week's new preterite tense verbs was assigned today and due either friday, or monday-at the student's choice (upcoming thanksgiving holiday present); next week will be a destinos marathon; there will be no homework assigned, nor due next week, nor any homework over the break due upon return; the grammar packet excs a, b, c and d are due/will be due on wednesday-chapter 15 practices with reflexive verbs which were introduced in october. the new verbs to be quizzed for this week include the following: for tuesday, november 17, decir and salir; for wednesday, querer and hacer; for thursday, poder and poner; for friday, trajer and saber L1-students should continue to work on their mexico project due on monday, december 7; study for the ser definitions, conjugations and rules quiz w/o a word bank for tomorrow, tuesday, november 17; study for the estar rules and conjugations quiz w/o a word bank for wednesday, november 18; write your 10 bilingual present progressive tense ('ing') sentences due this friday; work on the grammar packet due this wednesday and complete the comprehension questions to story 9 due tomorrow in addition to the translation to story 9 which was due today will be reviewed tomorrow
