WARREN TECH TV, RADIO & DIGITAL MEDIA
Students produce several programs which air on the school’s YouTube channel, such as “Technical Teachings” and “Knightline News”.
The career academy also offers students the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to utilize video as a way of relaying information.
Students in their third year of this program produce a daily news broadcast which informs students and staff of school happenings and important announcements. They rotate though the crew positions and create their own segment to add once a week.
Finally, students in their fourth year of this program will utilize all the skills they have acquired in this career program to create their own short films as they move through the firm and genre study unit. From the storyboard and sound design right down to the distribution, the course will offer students the opportunity to work on documentaries, silent films, horror films, noir films and a variety of live practical jobs for the community.
